Artist's Comments

This is one of the most unusual fire agates in our collection. It has stacked banding in a large range or brilliant colors. From the top of the gem it resembles a hypnotic snake eye!!

Don't take it personal. I already dislike the fact of having to resort to irresponsibly mined metal (as you cannot guarantee that it has been done responsibly), and seeing how the mining for gemstones has ravaged some of the places I have liked the most led me to that decision.

I appreciate them a lot but I am still cautious about going back to it. For the time being I want to work with glass and other alternative materials.
