Spectrolite Butterfly 3

3 inch wide 18k gold butterfly with pierced overlay, 22k gold settings, hand engraving on a good portion of the
butterfly, custom 18k opal-accented chain, 18k opal & pink sapphire butterfly clasp dangle/chain extension. Necklace will include 4 custom spectrolite cabs (that were oriented to flash at the same angle and have the same basic color scheme), various Australian opals including Lightning Ridge black and Mintabie Australian opals, faceted tanzanite, pink and yellow sapphire and bright blue apatite eyes.Along with the large amount of hand engraving involved in this project our techniques also included (but were not limited to, piercing, soldering, riveting, hand fabricated settings. All cabochon cutting has been done by and by Mark Anderson. Design by Jessica Dow. 21" (with a 2" extender)18k textured chain made by Mark using basic, "old school" hand fabrication techniques. The results were exactly what the client envisioned. *This project was changed, re-designed and actually fabricated twice due to the high standards we hold to our own work and our dedication to giving our client exactly what she wanted.
