Mark fabricated this men's ring from heavy gauge sterling silver stock. Design features a flush set sapphire cabochon and a hand chiseled slash and cut design. Mark also oxidized the low points of the chiseled areas for added contrast.

Size 9.5 and weighs in at 16grams:)

This ring is just plain COOL:headbang:

The reason for the title "Silver Bleeds Black".

I used die sinking chisels to cut into this ring. When I made it I wanted to test my new tools. Die sinking chisels are like giant engravers. I cut extremely deep into this ring with these new toys. The thought crossed my mind when making this ring that I was going to make the silver bleed. I also had to move the metal a ton to set the sapphire cabochon. One of the more challenging stones to set. I put this ring through hell, and discovered silver bleeds black and bruises blue:)

Its wonderful, i'd totally wear that too, and its rare to see sapphire set in silver here, and that's a stunning sapphire, here in the uk mainstream sapphires are ridiculously dark.. anway its fantastic :thumbsup:
