Mark fabricated this men's ring from heavy gauge sterling silver stock. Design features a flush set sapphire cabochon and a hand chiseled slash and cut design. Mark also oxidized the low points of the chiseled areas for added contrast.
Size 9.5 and weighs in at 16grams

This ring is just plain COOL

The reason for the title "Silver Bleeds Black".
I used die sinking chisels to cut into this ring. When I made it I wanted to test my new tools. Die sinking chisels are like giant engravers. I cut extremely deep into this ring with these new toys. The thought crossed my mind when making this ring that I was going to make the silver bleed. I also had to move the metal a ton to set the sapphire cabochon. One of the more challenging stones to set. I put this ring through hell, and discovered silver bleeds black and bruises blue
