These are cabs Mark just finished cutting last night. These two cabs came from a slab of rare blue based gem grade dinosaur bone. The cabs have cells with colors such as yellow, red and purple:)

really stunning. I wish these photos didn't seem so washed out ... I feel like it's hard to see the colors - but then again I've never seen gem bone in real life so it could be normal.

NO.. you're right.. the colors are better in person. The cabs have a very high polish and it was tricky to get the colors to show. Perhaps I'll try to re-shot them:) Thanks for the comment!!
