 This is the most colorful and detailed spider carving my mom has ever done. It will be used in a new pendant design in the near future. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. You wrote a while back about the process involved in bringing out the fire in Andamooka Opal. Was this opal carved and then processed or vice-versa? From what I understand of how you described the process, the color layer is rather thin. Correct? Or am I totally off on this?
Also, when your mother's article in Art Jewelry Magazine is published, can you provide a link to it? It would be awesome to read.
