High quality agatized fossilized dinosaur bone, or “gembone”, is one of the signature gemstones used by Different Seasons Jewelry. We have collected the finest gem quality dinosaur bone for over a decade and we do all of our gem cutting. We use our own inlay techniques that result in a cleaner, more durable piece of jewelry meant to stand the test of time. Gembone specimens can be traced back to dinosaurs that roamed the earth during the late Jurassic Age around 150 million years ago. Gem quality petrified dinosaur bone specimens are among the rarest fossils in the world.. a true miracle of nature! Dinosaur bone is a gemstone wit

We'd like to share some of the process images from our custom "Tanzanite Roses" (recycled) 18k gold necklace. This piece was made as an anniversary gift for a very special client. He had purchased this incredible 24 carat tanzanite gemstone over 10 years ago and wanted it set into the perfect pendant for his wife. We were all very happy with the result. My design work and Mark's skills in hand-engraving worked very well in this collaboration. This piece was fabricated with hand engraving techniques, piercing and connected using rivets. The pendant is a hollow box-style piece, made to accommodate and protect the height of the extraordinary ta

Recent projects~ We've been so busy that we haven't been posting much of our work recently. I'm posting photos from two of our more recent projects~ my black Lightning Ridge opal ring and Mark's white palladium gold gem dinosaur bone ring & pendant set. We're in the process of working our biggest commission to date~ a solid 18k gold butterfly featuring our own hand cut opal and spectrolite cabochons as well as a wide range of top quality faceted gemstones such as tanzanite and pink sapphire. This butterfly has been in the works for many months and we hope to have it finished and posted within the month. A couple quick preview pics below~ In

The works in your gallery are beyond compare; I'm in awe of the talent displayed here.  Totally blown away.
Thanks VERY much. We've been too busy to be active much on DA but hopefully we'll have more time after the holiday season to upload some of our newer jewelry pics. Thanks again:)
You're welcome!  I look forward to future updates!
I noticed your comment on #EliteArtists and I wished to let you know that the group seems to be highly opposed to Artisan Crafts. My work was rejected repeatedly by them until I had a Daily Deviation at which point the accepted the (previously rejected) knife. Now that they will accept my work, I find that I have little interest in submitting it to them.

You have a fine gallery and expertly done pieces, do not be discouraged by that group. Their bias does not reflect upon the quality of your work.
Thanks! Yes, I think you're correct. They should stick to digital art. The criticism I was given for our submission was based on my method of photography. I was informed (by someone with zero experience in my field) that jewelry should always be photographed on a human model. Yeahhhhh, right.. lol.
Thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to stop by our page. I'll go check out your work now!:)
Well I suppose that you cannot expect a group that claims to be of multiple interests to actually have multiple areas of interest. Oh well, you jewelry is beautiful and I suppose that is enough.
Thank you for the watch. :)
